“100's Have Had Their Chains Of Addiction Broken And 1000's Of Families Have Had Their Hope Restored That God Will Heal Their Family Members.”
This Is My Story (The Program)
For the past 5 years, Steve has traveled the United States telling his story and singing his songs of redemption from addiction. He has seen 100’s of lives changed and families saved by what he allows God to do through him and in him.
Steve has had number 1 and top 10 songs as well as been featured on worldwide tv and Christian news magazines. But if you ask Steve he will tell you number 1 songs and worldwide media is meaningless. What is important to Steve is showing others that God does heal addiction through the blood of Jesus just like God did for Steve.
Men and women have had their chains of addiction broken just hearing Steve’s story and music. Learning to totally trust God and seek his healing. Many contact Steve, sometimes years later, to let him know that hearing his story and music was a life-changing event and that they to have surrendered into ministry.
Steve, along with his wife Kelly are the founders of New Boots Recovery (a Christ-Centered non 12 step recovery program) as well as Hounds Of Hope (a recovery program that teams high kill shelter dogs with people caught in the chains of addiction, so they give one another a chance at a new life) As well as Trail Hands (a program for the families and loved ones of those caught in addiction).
Steve and Kelly Waldrip, as well as this ministry, go much further than just music. God has truly given them a heart and passion for the ones caught in addiction, as well as their families.

In my almost twenty years of Ministry, I have been privileged to meet and work alongside many great men and women of God. But very seldom has God placed a man or woman in my path that I know is “cut from the same cloth” that I am. One whose heart is drawn to the broken and the hurting in this world because he or she was also once broken, hurting and hopeless.
One who has been through every dark test, trial, and tribulation known to man but has pressed through to VICTORY in Christ Jesus. One who can look another broken, hurting, hopeless soul in the eyes and say: ‘I’ve been where you’ve been – I’ve seen what you’ve seen – I’ve felt what you’ve felt – and I’ve done what you’ve done –
BUT – LET ME TELL YOU THE “GOOD NEWS.” Steve Waldrip, YOU are such a man. The power and presence of the Holy Spirit is not only in you in “fullness” when you minister to the hopeless but he is also in you in “POWER.” That was clearly evident this past Saturday as I watched you minister to the men of Damascus Road Recovery Center. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so heavy in the Chapel as you spoke, I was constantly fighting back the tears.
That is when God gave me the prophetic words I spoke over you that morning that:
God has given you the ability through the “power of the Spirit” to “hold men’s hearts in your hands.” I know Christ Jesus is taking you to heights in ministry that make you shake your head in wonderment – BUT – HANG ON, MY BROTHER – You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
To those of you reading this heartfelt letter that do not know Steve Waldrip, I urge you to get to know him for you will be truly blessed. And I ask each of you to keep this great man of God in your prayers.
Sincerely, Pastor Charlie Haynes

If I were Asked about Steve Waldrip and his ministry I would simply sum it up with three words “The Real Deal”. As a pastor, I receive several phone calls a month from people wanting to come minister and as we should as pastors I take these calls seriously. Through prayer first, I felt like God led our church to have Steve.
Steve was able to connect with people in a way that I as a pastor have never had the opportunity to. I seen several people release things to the lord that Sunday morning through Steve and his testimony. Not only that morning but I have seen lasting effects of what Steve allows God to do through him.
So my suggestion, if you're trying to decide on whether or not to have Steve at your church. Pray and make sure its Gods will Have him and you won't regret! I believe that Steve is Called by God and allows God to use him he doesn't just use God.
